Bright
Futures focuses on family functioning for teen parents to help support and
sustain healthy parent-child relationships. The program provides comprehensive support to
at-risk pregnant and/or parenting youth with children ages 0-5 in the Juvenile
Justice system in Fresno County. Pregnant and/or parenting teens are provided with one-on-one parent support, one-on-one consultations, parenting education, developmental learning groups, developmental screenings for children, and referrals to community resources that will further enhance their ability for achieving self-sufficiency and a safe and nurturing environment for their children. |
