I really love volunteering for Fresno Barrios Unidos (FBU), because everyone needs to know about the rights we have as teenagers! If you don't know your rights they can be taken away from you. I really love the environment FBU provides for us, it's friendly, fun and still professional. All of the staff is very friendly and they care about us as Peer Health Educators, we're like their adopted kids. I think everyone should come see what FBU is all about. Some of my favorite bands are Circa Survive, Destroy Rebuild Until God Show (D.R.U.G.S.), Copeland, Emarosa, Oh Sleeper, and well much more. I am a very curious person as well which is why I am taking forensics when I start college. Fresno Barrios Unidos (FBU) is a really awesome place I learned a lot when I first came in for Healthy Decisions; what really interested me was the relationship abuse that can happen around. Then staff is great they don't treat us like little kids they treat us more like young adults, they listen to our ideas and take them to consideration which I really like about them. Yelmi Martinez: My name bis Yelmi Martinez and I am 20 years old. I am currently attending Fresno City College. I will be receiving my paralegal degree in following year of 2012. No, instead I involved myself into more programs to achieve my goals. When I did Healthy Decisions, I gain a little more knowledge from what I already knew. So, I began to volunteer at Fresno Barrios Unidos, because I wanted to expand my learning experience working with the youth in the community. Volunteering in Barrios has opened e up to love me more and make better decisions in life. Christine Starr Esquivel: Hello, I am Christine, but most people call me Starr.
